Bridgton’s Standard Gastropub… Did you say Sriracha Wings?

Supporting local Maine businesses is important. This is especially easy to do when the food and drink is outstanding. Standard Gastropub serves up the best grub in Western Maine. Hands down, their burger rivals any California gourmet patty. In-N-Out has nothing on this joint… besides In-N-Out doesn’t serve craft beer. Owners, William Holmes and Alvah Johnson have created a menu of simple but well perfected dishes. A small smoker turns out delectable beef, chicken and pork which are used in Gastro’s breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dishes. The beer choices are wide and William is quick to pair the correct beverage with a spicy entree. Don’t expect tablecloths at this dinning establishment. Brightly colored picnic tables and bar stools create a casual setting that can be found on Route 302’s Mobile Station in Bridgton! With hours from 6:00 am to 1:00 am daily, William and Alvah aren’t getting a lot of sleep.
