Nothing says Thanksgiving like family, food, football and the new Xbox One. The house was filled with family and friends by late Tuesday night. In a push to beat the publicized East Coast storm, those flying West had their flights rescheduled to ensure arrival. Whole Foods had been expertly shopped to prepare for the demands of the holiday. Kids having identification verifying their age as twenty-one or older attended the annual “Black Wednesday” event at Mill Valley’s 2am Club. Thanksgiving brought copious amounts of coffee and the start to the day’s carbo-load. Black Friday arrived as did the much coveted Xbox One along with Williams-Sonoma’s Peppermint Bark. Monday came too quickly with the last family member headed back to Connecticut for the final two weeks of the term.
